Community Hymn Sing

Gather with us at Stumptown Mennonite Church on Saturday, May 31, 7:00 p.m. for a community hymn sing celebrating the 500th Anniversary of Anabaptism. Song leaders from Mennonite churches across Lancaster County will lead hymns highlighting the history of Mennonite song and worship. Communal singing will be interspersed with short vignettes further exploring shifts in Anabaptist worship throughout the centuries. Registration is not required for this event, but if you would like to suggest a hymn for the group to sing, please use the "Register" button on the event listing at mennonitelife.org/events.

Exhibit—'They Went Out from Us': Zwingli and the Radical Reformation

Mennonite Life offers a limited-time exhibit titled 'They Went Out from Us': Zwingli and the Radical Reformation. The exhibit is complimentary and will be on display in the Mennonite Life Library through Friday, June 6. Curated by Mennonite Life Archivist & Librarian Julia Wiker, the exhibit features three 16th-century imprints of Swiss reformer Ulrich Zwingli's writing from Mennonite Life's rare book collection. These artifacts illuminate Zwingli's encounters with the budding Anabaptist movement, including his relationships with Conrad Grebel and Christoph Froschauer.
