Dear Phil,
Dear Friend,
Thank you! Even with a holiday weekend in the mix, you helped us collect over 900 lbs of food and personal care items last month. That kind of generosity doesn't happen by accident, and we're grateful for every bag, box, and bottle you brought in.
Now we're back at it for August, and this time we need your help in a specific way: our shelves are running low on personal care items. We especially need dish detergent and laundry detergent—but anything from the list below makes a real difference.
Here's what's most needed right now:
- Toilet Paper
- Dish soap
- Laundry soap
- Tissues
- Paper Towels
- Body Wash
- Soy Sauce
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Olives (avoid glass)
- BBQ sauce – avoid glass
- Cream of Cheese Soup
- Boxed Stuffing mix
- Unseasoned Bread Crumbs
- Cream of Chicken and/or mushroom
- Baked Beans
- Yams or Sweet potatoes – small cans
- Canned potatoes – avoid diced
- Ramen Noodles
- Mini Marshmallows
- Tuna – 5 oz or 2 oz
Every item on this list ends up in the hands of a neighbor who's working hard to get back on stable ground—and just needs a bit of support to get there.
Drop-off details: Bring your donations to Warehouse916 on August 7th, between 3-5 pm. You'll find us behind the Declaration House at 240 Main St, Denver, PA 17517.
Can't make it during that window? Email marybeth@reallcs.org and we'll find a time that works for you. Got a larger donation? We're glad to come pick it up from your collection site.
