Christian Formation

Identify Your Delegates Now!
Learn about the role of delegates at the Mennonite Church USA biennial convention with this handy guide. Identify your delegates early, so they can register by Jan. 15, 2015 and have a chance to participate in the Executive Board's delegate survey. 

Summer Institute for Spiritual Formation
Two-week training for those interested in individual and congregational spiritual formation.It also gives participants an opportunity to explore their own faith formation more fully.

Leadership Development

Scholarships from Eastern Mennonite Seminary
Apply Feb. 1, 2015 to be eligible for the largest scholarships from EMS.

 Leadership Clinics
Four workshops will precede Pastors Week at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Jan. 26, 2015 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Anabaptist Approaches to Scripture, Creating Safe Spaces in the Church, Why Polity Matters, and The Bible Doesn't Have to be Boring.

Hybrid courses at Eastern Mennonite Seminary
Eastern Mennonite Seminary will be offering Formation in God's Story I and II, Pastoral Care and Genesis in a hybrid format in 2015-16. Fall classes will start online Aug. 10, 2015 and on-campus Aug. 24-29, 2015.

Seminary Preview Days
Encourage someone with gifts for ministry to attend a Seminary Preview Day at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, March 27, 2015 or April 24, 2015. Experiencing classes and campus life is the best way to test whether seminary study is the next step toward ministry.
