Brandt Blvd., Salunga, Pa., or Saturday, December 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at Marion Mennonite Church Fellowship Center, 4365 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg, Pa. For more information, visit emm.org/events, or contact Jessica Mueller at 717 898-2251.

The Calling Journey timeline charts your progress toward your purpose, helping you understand God's timing, know what to expect next and see how everything in life is preparing you for your destiny.

In this interactive workshop you will:
  • Learn the universal calling stages and valleys
  • See how the timeline plays out in the stories of biblical leaders
  • Graph your own personal calling timeline
  • Understand the stage you are in and hear how others experienced it
  • Make a plan to lean into what God is doing in your current stage of life
The book The Calling Journey by Tony Stoltzfus is required and is included in the cost of the workshop.

KAIROS

Sabbath Space For Clergy, Chaplains and Other Leaders

KAIROS: School of Spiritual Formation is offering monthly weekday retreats in a contemplative context for pastors and ministry leaders to grow spiritually and to enhance their ministries in the practice of spiritual formation. Sabbath Space retreat days, offered September through May, provide rest and reflection away from the work of ministry, encourage personal spiritual growth, and increase awareness and understanding of the art and ministry of spiritual guidance in the church or ministry setting.

Through the study of literature, the experience of group spiritual direction, theological reflection, and presentation of case studies out of the settings in which they provide leadership, participants will enhance their own spiritual journey, as well as more effectively care for the soul of their congregation or ministry community.

Continuing Education Units available for this retreat.

For additional information on the days and time, prospectus, application and fees, please visit www.kairosjourney.org/sabbath-space/

October 27-28, 2015 at Black Rock Retreat Center
For LMC Leaders w/Retired Credential or Active Credential 65+ & Spouses. The theme of the 2015 Retreat is "Bridging the Past and the Future". Life is an ongoing journey from what was known in our past and present into our unknown future. We desire to praise the Lord God for the grace experienced in our former years and to prepare well to faithfully live our future years. In order to live well and leave a faithful witness, we need each other to bridge the generations. Necessary Conversations between Parents and Adult Children are important; also the Role of Grandparenting, the Challenges of Senior Years, Recreation, and Seeing New Life.

The main speakers are Gerald & Marlene Kaufman, Keith Weaver, Ernie & Lois Hess, Elaine Hollinger, and Black Rock Retreat's "Maintaining Praise".

The cost remains the same as last year ($66/person) which includes four meals, one night's lodging, and use of the camp facilities.
