Greetings from Crossfire Youth Ministries!
This month we are highlighting: Teaching the children to Pray
Caleb using M&Ms to teach children how to pray
Caleb is a true asset to Crossfire. The children & teenagers love him and appreciate his heart of compassion for each of them. On Wednesday evenings Caleb has been using the different colored M&Ms to have the children pray for different areas of their life, family or issues. Shown in the two photos are children sharing a prayer in front of their peers.  This past week Caleb asked the children who wanted to pray to seek out a leader and pray. I had the opportunity to listen to about a dozen children pray for their families and loved ones. It is truly heart warming to watch this crew learn to talk with God.

Currently we are seeing over 50 children every Wednesday evening. We are blessed with his crew. They are crazy busy, but are very attentive during devotions. They love to sing.

Recently i received a text "Grandmother was singing an oldie hymn and the 7 year old grandson chimed right in. Mom and Grandma looked at each other like...WHAT? Oh yeah, Crossfire.....Thank you for what you do for these children". That gave me a smile!

After School Study club:
We recently launched an after school study club for 5th grade students at Denver Elementary School. 3 students have signed on and a team of High school students from the National Honor Society help provide learning support for the study time. We look forward to building good study habits for students who have difficulties with studies.

Please cover Crossfire in your prayers:
Many families in our community are going through difficult times. The children feel the pressure of these storms. I am grateful for the financial support you share with us in allowing Crossfire to be a hope and stability in times of stress. Your prayers for wisdom and strength are greatly valued.

Ashland Youth Center:

Ashland youth center continues to see life abound in and around town. Every week we are seeing new faces. Having a crew of 25 on a Tuesday or Saturday is now the new normal. The children of Ashland are open to hearing about God's love and they also enjoy singing times. They are very attentive and soaking in the Word of God. Fruit is just on the horizon. Cover this community in your prayers as well.

Volunteers Needed:
We are in need of additional adult leaders to assist with our Wednesday evening elementary program. If God prompts you ... heed His call!

Thank you to each of you who continue to support Crossfire with your prayers & financial support. We truly need your partnership to continue the work God has called us to accomplish.

Together we can touch the lives of hurting youth with the love of Jesus Christ.

Sincerely,
James L Horning
Executive Director
