Collections Feature & Reception: Pincushions Tradition, craft, and women's artistry harmonize in our collection of Mennonite and Amish pincushions. This year's Collections Feature offers an up-close view of the skillful stitching and gorgeous colors that make up this timeless art form. Join us on Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the retail area of the Mennonite Life Collections Building for a light reception. At 7:00 p.m. Mennonite Life Curator Emily Immel will showcase the collection in the Community Room. Tickets for this event must be pre-reserved at mennonitelife.org/events.
Pincushions Pop-Up Exhibit Swing by to see our exclusive one-day pincushion pop-up exhibit. If you aren't able to make it to the Collections Feature & Reception (or if you want a second look), the Pincushions Exhibit will be available for viewing in the Mennonite Life Community Room Friday, December 6, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Your admission will permit you to view the collection and to tour the Mennonite Life Museum. Find tickets at mennonitelife.org/events.
It's the season of giving! Mennonite Life asks church congregations and members to remember us in your year-end giving. Your gifts help grow our educational programs and intercultural partnerships, and help make our museum experiences and artifact collections more accessible. Give online at mennonitelife.org. We appreciate you!
