Hi Phil,

Thank you so much for your support during this Thanks4Giving season. We have been incredibly blessed by your donations and deeply encouraged by the generosity shown. Words alone can't fully capture the impact you've made—so let's take a look at the numbers.

And that's not all. In addition to the 277 gifts distributed to children in our community, you also blessed 58 parents, 15 senior citizens, and 10 students in our Momentum program with gifts of their own.

And on top of that, we received four incredibly generous toy donations that launched a new initiative—allowing parents to "shop" for gifts for their children who were unable to sign up for Project Christmas Presents in time. These donations filled our basement to the brim with toys, baby clothes, crafts, and everything a parent could hope to give their young child this Christmas.

Quick Story.....

Because of your generosity, so many families are experiencing the joy of Christmas this year. Each parent who came through our "Santa's Workshop" was invited to choose about five gifts per child—not because we wanted to limit them, but because we wanted them to know there was more than enough to share.

One mother, a refugee who speaks and understands very little English, came in to shop for her five children. As we explained how the workshop worked, she initially thought she was only allowed to choose one gift for each child. Using a translation app, we were able to gently clarify that she could actually select up to 25 gifts to bless her family.

She paused, gasped, and quickly typed a message that said, "My children will be so happy." Though words were few, the relief and gratitude on her face said everything. In that moment, you could see the weight lift—this mother was going to be able to give her children a Christmas filled with joy.

This is what REAL Life Community Services is all about: bringing hope to those who need it most and sharing the love of Christ—not just through words, but by meeting real needs and showing people what love truly looks like.

You didn't stop at only providing us with toys.

In just two and a half months, we received over 11,500 pounds of food. To put that into perspective: from January through September of 2025, we received 11,852 pounds total. That means in just 2–2½ months, Warehouse 916 received nearly the same amount of donations we typically receive in nine months.

Put another way, our average monthly food donations increased by more than 300% during this season—an incredible testament to your generosity and commitment to serving our community.

This extraordinary outpouring has allowed us to serve more families, stock our shelves more fully, and step into new opportunities to meet needs as they arise. As we continue pressing forward through the end of the year, we're believing for what's still ahead. To reach our $300,000 year-end goal, we have $17,000 left to raise by December 31. If you feel led to come alongside us—through giving, prayer, or sharing our mission—you are helping ensure that this momentum carries into the new year and that REAL Life Community Services remains a place of Hope for our community.

If you feel led to give, you can do so by pressing the button below.

We are deeply grateful for each of you and the role you play in this ministry. Your generosity, prayers, and willingness to say "yes" have allowed us to witness God at work in powerful ways this season. Because of you, families are being served, needs are being met, and Hope is being shared. And we all know who Hope is.

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, we pray that your Christmas is filled with joy, peace, and the reminder of God's great love. Merry Christmas, and thank you for being such an important part of the REAL Life Community Services family.

Grateful to serve alongside you,

Dear Friends,

"Ministering to people is the heart and soul of what we do!" declared Reverend Milton Williams, Jr., founder of The New Life Food Pantry—and after spending the day with him, we understood exactly what he meant. Every staff member radiates compassion, greeting each guest with dignity and the love of Jesus. Their joy is contagious, especially to those who have never experienced His hope before.

Rev. Williams launched the New Life Food Pantry (NLFP) in 2016 with a heartfelt mission: to ensure that families in East Baltimore—one of the most economically challenged communities in the region—never face hunger alone. And as the need grew, so did their calling. Their ministry now reaches men and women battling homelessness, addiction, food insecurity, and the overwhelming pressures of caring for grandchildren on limited incomes. Today, NLFP serves 500–600 people a day, three days a week.

Inside their bustling food outreach, guests can choose frozen meat, fresh produce, dairy, beverages, toiletries, and household supplies—items that help restore dignity one selection at a time. Rev. Williams also founded the New Life Evangelical Church and Turning Point Clinic, offering addiction recovery support through medication, counseling, mental health services, and spiritual care.

When we visited the food outreach, the day began with prayer and an altar call—and more than 10 people stepped forward to accept Jesus. What followed was a beautiful display of community: Rev. Williams invited guests to the food line by age, beginning with those 90 years old and older. To our shock, five seniors 90 and older stepped forward, highlighting the desperate need for food in Baltimore. By the end of the day, 400 sandwiches, 10 gallons of coffee, 11 pounds of sugar for the coffee, two roaster pans of soup, and half a pan of oatmeal had been shared. Watch this video to see New Life spreading hope and encouragement to the community through this outreach.

Moments like this remind us that your support does so much more than fill plates. You strengthen ministries. You lift communities. You help people encounter God's love—sometimes for the very first time.

Thank you for being part of this life-changing mission.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Blessings of Hope

Greetings!

When Layla walked through our doors, she was just 17. A high school senior. Pregnant. Physically exhausted and emotionally drained.

She felt so overwhelmed that she eventually dropped out of school. But even in her discouragement, Layla was determined to carry her baby.

Because of the generosity of friends like you, we offered Layla a place to learn, rest, and regain her footing. She loved our free prenatal classes, and after her baby was born, she came back for parenting lessons.

DONATE

Recently, she shared two pieces of exciting news:

  • She's moving into her own safe, stable home
  • She's going back to finish her education and is on track to earn her GED in just a few months

"I'm so thankful for all the encouragement you've given me — especially the encouragement I've received from my advocate," Layla said.

Her words remind us that the ministry of Align is ultimately about walking with people in a spirit of gentleness and the grace we all need, just as Paul describes in Galatians 6, bearing one another's burdens.

And that's exactly what you help make possible.

Thank you for being part of Layla's story and the stories still being written every day.
