Dear Friends,

"Ministering to people is the heart and soul of what we do!" declared Reverend Milton Williams, Jr., founder of The New Life Food Pantry—and after spending the day with him, we understood exactly what he meant. Every staff member radiates compassion, greeting each guest with dignity and the love of Jesus. Their joy is contagious, especially to those who have never experienced His hope before.

Rev. Williams launched the New Life Food Pantry (NLFP) in 2016 with a heartfelt mission: to ensure that families in East Baltimore—one of the most economically challenged communities in the region—never face hunger alone. And as the need grew, so did their calling. Their ministry now reaches men and women battling homelessness, addiction, food insecurity, and the overwhelming pressures of caring for grandchildren on limited incomes. Today, NLFP serves 500–600 people a day, three days a week.

Inside their bustling food outreach, guests can choose frozen meat, fresh produce, dairy, beverages, toiletries, and household supplies—items that help restore dignity one selection at a time. Rev. Williams also founded the New Life Evangelical Church and Turning Point Clinic, offering addiction recovery support through medication, counseling, mental health services, and spiritual care.

When we visited the food outreach, the day began with prayer and an altar call—and more than 10 people stepped forward to accept Jesus. What followed was a beautiful display of community: Rev. Williams invited guests to the food line by age, beginning with those 90 years old and older. To our shock, five seniors 90 and older stepped forward, highlighting the desperate need for food in Baltimore. By the end of the day, 400 sandwiches, 10 gallons of coffee, 11 pounds of sugar for the coffee, two roaster pans of soup, and half a pan of oatmeal had been shared. Watch this video to see New Life spreading hope and encouragement to the community through this outreach.

Moments like this remind us that your support does so much more than fill plates. You strengthen ministries. You lift communities. You help people encounter God's love—sometimes for the very first time.

Thank you for being part of this life-changing mission.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Blessings of Hope
