Dear Dayspring Friend:
As one who has experienced Dayspring's Thanksgiving Exposed event, you have witnessed our portrayal of the true story of the Pilgrims. We are set to bring this important American story to life again.
You may recall that Pilgrim Governor William Bradford wrote in his journal of the increasingly adverse conditions in Holland, which compelled his group to make their courageous excursion to the New World saying, "There was nothing but beating of drums and preparing for war, and events that are always uncertain." It was a perilous time met with "answerable courages." It was an epic journey that cost fully half of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower their lives that first year in America. We can scarcely imagine such conviction and valor.
We are set to bring this remarkable true story to life again on Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 22, at Dayspring Christian Academy.
