Church on the Other Side Regional Training Event

Josef Berthold and several others will focus on being a multiplying missional church from three perspectives: rural, suburban, urban. Orientation for Asian Leadership Training  
Saturday, February 7, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
James Street Menn Church, 323 W James St, Lancaster, PA 17603 
Lancaster Conference and Eastern Mennonite Missions will collaborate with congregations with Asian immigrant members to provide leadership training. This orientation will outline a four-session, one-saturday-a-month training on basic discipleship that will begin on Feb. 21. Troy Landis, EMM discipleship coach, will facilitate the instruction. Racial Healing Roundtable

LMC Agency Events & Information




The Africa Association of Bible Schools (AABS), affiliated with Eastern Mennonite Missions, provides theological training and support for African churches to train leaders in their local communities. Come and hear what God has been doing through AABS Tuesday, January 13, 6:30 p.m. in West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes. J.C. Ebersole, AABS director and EMM missionary, will give an overview of the ministry. David Shenk, a member of EMM's Christian/Muslim Relations Team, will speak about his July 2014 visit to the AABS annual conference in Nigeria.

Parents of Prospective Students
On Thursday, January 22, parents of prospective students are invited to drop in at the New Danville Campus of Lancaster Mennonite School (PreK-5) from 8:30-10:00 a.m. for a light breakfast and the opportunity to chat informally with the principal. Tours are available, and parents are welcome to observe classes in session. The New Danville Campus is located at 393 Long Lane, Lancaster.

Prelude Music
Children in kindergarten through second grade are invited to register for the spring 2015 semester of Prelude Music. Part of the Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster, Prelude Music is a non-auditioned group whose primary goal is to engage children with music. Playing, moving, listening, and singing are important components. Classes are held Tuesday evenings in February through April at Blossom Hill Mennonite Church. Registration deadline is February 10.
