• What Young Historians are Thinking—Hear three young historians from historic peace churches present their research at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 12, at Pilgrims Mennonite Church (21 S 12th St, Akron, Pa.). Speaking will be David Horst Lehman, Monica Roth, and Devin Manzullo-Thomas.
  
• Field trip:  Hispanic Mennonite history—Hear stories of some of the first Puerto Ricans in Lancaster County, and see where they lived, worked, and worshipped. This field trip takes place on Saturday, October 31, from 8 am to 4 pm, leaving from the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, and returning to the same location. • How in the World Have we Changed?—Hear Mennonite and Brethren in Christ leaders reflect on Mennonite World Conference and how the Anabaptist world has changed over the last 50 years. This free event will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 9 at Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church, 1865 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, Pa.
  
• "Everything just went right"—The New Holland Area Historical Society in cooperation with The Swiss Pioneer Preservation Associates and Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will present Author's Reflections from Ed Nolt's New Holland Baler – "everything just went right". Allan W. Shirk, author, will read selected texts and provide insight into his research. Following the presentation, the just released book will be available for purchase and author signings. The event will be held on October 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Martindale Mennonite Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata, Pa. For additional information contact Don Horning 717-538-3079.
