|  - We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake.

Great summer of ministry at Spruce Lake - lives continue to be changed for Christ! I am excited to say that at least 10 campers asked Christ to be their savior this summer. Nine are from Wilderness Camp and one is from Day Camp. At least 4 campers were baptized; we found out that one staff member was baptized this past weekend at her home church, too! There were also over 20 re-commitments at WC. Over all, WC and DC served just shy of 1,000 campers this summer. God truly blessed the summer! - We know of at least four adults that accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at Spruce Lake this summer!
- Sib Nafziger Charles, Spruce Lake Board Member and Community and Church Relations Manager Joni and Friends Eastern PA shared the following praises from their three weeks at Spruce Lake this summer!
- A dad of multiple children with disability came to know Christ during a Joni and Friends Family Retreat. Another praise with this one is that the family just moved and one of our JAF volunteers is a pastor of a church very close to where this family now lives and we got them connected. This pastor has agreed to disciple the dad that accepted Christ. Love the Body Christ of Working together.
- Between the three Joni and Friends Family Retreats we had the privilege of serving over 130 families affected by disability. What a joy to honor, love, and celebrate all these precious families. Most important we had opportunity to literally be the hands of feet of Jesus to the parents, siblings, and the children/adults with disabilities!

- Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here.
- Pray for wisdom for each one involved in creating the 2017 Budget.
- Pray that we might have the opportunity to point people to Christ through the upcoming Labor Day Weekend Events, Women's Retreat and The Trinity Tour Motorcycle Ride.
