House to be torn down doubling Crossfire's current yard space | | | | "Enlarge the place of your tent;
Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords
And strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your descendants will possess nations
And will resettle the desolate cities." Isaiah 54:2-3 Enlarge your tent, spread to the right...Crossfire is doing this very thing in Ashland! Every week 30-40 children come to the youth center looking desperately for a safe haven, to be noticed, to belong. In many ways, Crossfire has become their family. And this family is getting a bigger yard! For less than $10,000 the property to the right of the center is being acquired, demo'd and landscaped into a wide open space so the kids can run and play. Keep reading (verse 3)...is God up to something more? Pray with us that this winter, as the house is torn apart piece by piece, the children watching will allow a deep work to be done in their hearts and minds; demolishing lies, fears and doubts. Then, as spring brings a living green lawn, they will find themselves coming alive with joy and spreading their wings in truths' freedom! God is able to transform these "descendants" to be re-builders of their broken families, their city and even other nations!
