  • Mennonite Life partners with Garden Spot Village to host the Plain Living Series. Admission is complimentary. More information at bit.ly/MLifeEvents.


  • Ken Sensenig & an Old Order Mennonite representative present Interplay of Language, Culture, and Faith on Wed, May 4, at 7 pm.
  • Dr. Conrad Kanagy, Tom Spicher, and Chet Yoder, chaplain of Garden Spot Village, present Amish & Mennonite Stories of Mifflin County, PA on Wed, May 11, at 7 pm.


  • Alternative (1W) Service From Two Viewpoints (Flyer below.) - Mennonite Life hosts Robert Wyble, author of the memoir Life Together, and Henry Youndt, author of the fictional Ezra's War, on Thursday, May 19, at 7 pm at the Millstream campus, to discuss their books, both portraying the influences of alternative service. Admission is complimentary. Books available for purchase. Authors will sign books after discussion. More info at bit.ly/1WService.


  • Encapsulation Workshop at Mennonite Life. Sara Berkovec, collections curator, and Julia Wiker, archivist/librarian, teach a hands-on workshop on Saturday, June 4, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm where participants learn to make clear protective envelopes for treasured documents. Participants bring two documents, share their significance with the group, & create protective sleeves to preserve them. The workshop includes all necessary materials. The cost is $30. Preregister by Friday, May 20 at bit.ly/EncapDocs.



  • Retail Specialist Administratively manages retail offerings across our campuses, with in-store tasks complemented by other team members. Provides visual merchandising, purchasing, inventory management, and reporting services to meet our mission, customer expectations, and a positive bottom line.


  • Used Books Manager - Manage our used book sales business lines: Bookworm Frolic, Used & Rare Book Auctions, online used book sales (currently through Amazon), and in-store used book sales.
