The guest speaker will be Donna Fisher, writer, speaker, and founding member of the group. Her presentation "An Inspirational Message" will be followed by a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the High Foundation Auditorium of the Calvin G. and Janet C. High Learning and Wellness Center at Landis Communities, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA. Please follow all COVID protocols in place at the time of the meeting. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. Rare & Us ed Book Auction We curate books you'll love and offer them for sale at our regular Rare & Used Book Auctions. Join us in the Community Room on Friday, November 11 at 6:30 pm for our Rare & Used Book Auction. The auction happens in person; we also accept bids via mail and online up to a week before the event. 2022 ExtraGive Partner with Mennonite Life by donating online at ExtraGive.org on November 18 as Lancaster celebrates generosity together. Your gift impacts the tens of thousands of students and visitors we reach annually. Holiday Giving with Mennonite Life Our museum stores are your unique holiday gift destination for books and art, Ten Thousand Villages and other handcrafted items, and Bible-inspired gifts. Collections Feature: Fraktur See eleven fraktur art pieces in the Mennonite Life collection not currently on display. Join us on December 1 at 7 pm in the Community Room. Following this complimentary one-hour event, enjoy a light reception and an opportunity to start on your holiday shopping in our museum store. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. - Serve as a tour guide at the 1719 Museum (April-October)
