We are so grateful for the start of Spring Semester! We are all enjoying the warming weather. 

This monthly email aims to keep friends and alumni updated on what's happening at Rosedale Bible College and connected to helpful resources. Thanks for joining us! Presidential Note We are so grateful for the start of Spring Semester! We are all enjoying the warming weather.  We are also grateful for our recent Discover Rosedale event which pushed the number of campus visitors in a single year higher than any year on record. If these visits translate into student numbers our enrollment will continue its upward trend. But more than numbers, we long for students to encounter Jesus in life-changing ways, to be truly converted to Kingdom citizens, and to become better equipped for lifelong service with a primary allegiance to Jesus as King. My heart has been "strangely warmed" these last weeks as I think about the mission of Rosedale. Our eyes are open to how God wants to use us, change us, and grow us for His glory. May He guide your vision as well!  -Jeremy Miller What's Happening at RBC?   New Full-Ride for Kingdom Scholars Offered at RBC We're excited to announce that a donor family is offering a brand new, full-ride scholarship for Kingdom Scholars. This scholarship will fully fund one or two eligible Kingdom Scholars for two years of study at RBC. Inquire about details when applying. Applications for this scholarship are due by April 1 of each year.  Spring Semester February 27 was the beginning of our Spring Semester! Our classes offered this semester are:  Apologetics and Contemporary Christianity with Jon Showalter  Introduction to World Religions and Anabaptism Today with Reuben Sairs  Biblical Literature III and I Corinthians with Matt Showalter Genesis and History of Christianity with Phil Weber Jesus and the Ethics of the Kingdom with Dion Gingerich  Core Christian Beliefs II and Preaching the Biblical Text with Jeff Miller Principles of Microeconomics with Josh Yoder Composition with Lynette Schrader  Creative Writing with Vicki Sairs  Introduction to Humanities and Business Mathematics with Ken Miller Discover Rosedale On March 2 and 3, we had our largest Discover Rosedale to date! Forty-three students joined our campus for a time of learning more about Rosedale and participating in the everyday activities of our students.  Melissa Yoder Hired We have hired RBC alumnus Melissa Yoder to help us start an RBC thrift store. The store will serve as a laboratory for our business students and contribute additional revenue to the college helping us continue to offer affordable Kingdom training for our students.  One Night Worship On Wednesday, March 8, youth groups from the area came and joined our campus for our One Night Worship! A worship band from Holmes County, 4:12 Collective, came and led us in an evening of praise and worship.  Student Testimonial   Tra Abshire, first-year student My experience at Rosedale has been a blast. The staff and students immediately made me feel welcome. They encouraged me to join new things and try everything Rosedale had to offer. Rosedale has also given me a whole new meaning to the word 'community'. I used to believe that community just meant we were together, but the new perspective Rosedale has given me is that we do "life" together. Our ups and downs are shared with each other. I have loved getting to know my fellow students and deepening my relationships with them. I have also been encouraged to preach and deepen my faith. You'll get a closer glimpse of student life through stories and reels.  View RBC Instagram Upcoming Events   Choral Fest On April 21-23 we are having our 19th biennial Choral Fest! High school choirs will be traveling to our campus and spending the weekend singing together. On Sunday the 23rd all are welcome to come and hear each of the choirs sing and listen to the group as a whole perform.  Chorale Tours Our RBC Chorale has some upcoming tours! March 25-26 they will be traveling to Hicksville. On March 29 they will be visiting Turkey Run and from April 1-10 they will be going out west and touring through Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Our Chorale and Salt and Light doubleheader will be on Sunday, May 7 so save the date!
