Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your support, prayers, and kind words over the last few weeks. I am deeply grateful for this community and to have served with you for the past 17 years! I am looking forward to continuing to serve as the Executive Director over the next few months and supporting the ministry in 2024! If you have not read about my upcoming transition, please read a letter from the CrossNet Board of Directors and myself here.

Below is a recap from the month of September! There are so many amazing stories of life-change and exciting opportunities taking place! September Stats & Current Needs

SEPTEMBER HAPPENINGS:

Fall programming is back! We are excited for many programs to start back up - 56 Afterschool, Tutoring, Cross Jr., Play and Learns, and more! It is a joy to build safe community, relationships and healthy boundaries with all people as we seek to show and share the love of Jesus. In September, CrossNet Staff had the privilege of serving in the concession stand at a Garden Spot High School Football game! It was fun to see the community gather together and see the faces of many students, individuals, and families who are involved with CrossNet! Thank you to the Garden Spot High School Football team and the community for donating food items to CrossNet Food Programs at that game! We are grateful for your support!

We are overjoyed to have had a family move in to the most recently renovated Pathways to Housing unit!

EXPANSION UPDATE

Last month, CrossNet Staff met with members of TONO Group and PROTO Construction for a kickoff meeting regarding the construction plans for the warehouse renovations.

We are excited to announce that renovations have officially begun!!

We are grateful to work alongside TONO Group and PROTO Construction and to share updates with the community through different stages of the renovation!

2024 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

The CrossNet Christmas Program creates an opportunity for the ELANCO community to come together to make sure every under-resourced family has food, some gifts, and is shown the love of Christ during the Christmas season.

There are MANY ways to get involved in this program, but one of the biggest needs is sponsoring a child or family.

You can even sponsor a child right NOW!

AN ENCOURAGING STORY

A CrossNet Mentor and Mentee got together several times over the month of September to bake and perfect brownies to enter in the New Holland Fair's baking competition. They had so much fun being able to spend time together working on this project! The Mentee ended up getting second place in the competition! What is even sweeter is that this Mentoring pair have been together since the Mentee was in Cross Jr. - she is now 16! We are thankful for longevity of this relationship and for the fun ways they spend time together.
