Cocalico Cooks 4 REAL!

What a great night! With 8 food vendors and 18 different dishes, the competition was hot! However, in the end, Castañedas Mexican Restaurant won best appetizer with their chips and guacamole, Pappy's BBQ won best entree with their smoked pulled pork, and Courtyard Cafe on Main won best dessert with their apple cheesecake bars.

Cocalico Cooks 4 REAL brought in $16,000 before the night even started and by the end of the night our total was at $22,900!

This brings our Thanks4Giving total to $73,567! We are well on our way, but we still have 1 month to raise $180,000.

Reaching this goal isn't easy, so we need your help! Follow our campaign on Facebook and Instagram to share with friends, keep us in your prayers, and consider giving a donation. With your help we can continue to bring Hope to this community!

Warehouse916 Updates

Neighbors Helping Neighbors!

We have been experiencing a lot of that this holiday season! Generous individuals and groups from the community like Faith Mennonite Fellowship, Signature Cabinetry, and the Cocalico Middle School band have donated turkeys and other food items for our Power Pack families and friends in our Client Choice shopping program. In addition, we had the opportunity to bless families and individuals this past Saturday with Thanksgiving baskets provided by Dove Westgate Church in Ephrata. Many helping hands were there to bring smiles and hope with each item given out. Just another testament that we serve an amazing God who is the ultimate giver of hope and love!

Thank you LCBC Church in Ephrata's kids' ministry for collecting over 1300lbs of food! This is probably one of our biggest single donations yet!

This year, so many kiddos have been collecting food for our organization. It is so amazing to see youth getting involved to help their community.

We love to see it!!

Come enjoy Christmas lights in Lancaster County with your friends and family and support a good cause!

It's official! We are participating in LIGHTS FOR ALL once again at Refreshing Mountain Retreat & Adventure Center! This annual by donation walk-thru donation area is a wonderful way to support your favorite nonprofit and enjoy thousands of more lights than the previous year! This is a special walk-around experience that we hope will connect you, your family, and the Joy of Christmas!

Project Christmas Presents

Providing gifts for over 150 children in our community!

We still need your help to make Christmas happen for our families in need! Look for our REAL Life Ornaments on Christmas trees at participating churches and restaurants.

If you have already shopped for a child, make sure you get the gifts to us this week, Dec. 1st-6th! Stop by The Declaration House during our office hours or call 717-336-7797 ext. 204 to see how we can connect.

Join us in Prayer

We recognize that there are several ways for you all to partner with us and that one of the most important ways is through prayer!

This month, we ask for you to keep the following in your prayers:

We are in the midst of our end-of-year fundraiser, Thanks4Giving, and need to reach our goal of $250,000 by Dec 31. As He is our provider, please ask for His favor as we do what He leads us to do.
We are also in the middle of Project Christmas Presents and we have over 150 children's names out all over the school district! Please pray that we can bless the socks off of these children and families and shine His light into their lives amid a lot of hurt and trauma.
We are in the process of hiring a part-time social worker as we are experiencing more families in need. Please pray for wisdom as we hire a new member of our team.
