2025 Fall Leadership Assembly & Assembly 2026

Hello,

By now, you've likely already received emails about LMC's upcoming Fall Leadership Assembly in September, AND about Assembly 2026.

We wanted to provide some additional clarity regarding these two different events so it's better understood what each event is and who they are for.

Fall Leadership Assembly

A special, four-day Leadership Assembly to commemorate 500-Years of Anabaptism!

Leadership Assemblies are for LMC Bishops, pastors, credentialed leaders, and any other people who are part of leadership within a congregation. These events are designed to equip, empower, challenge, and prepare leaders within LMC.

Assembly

Assembly is a new, biennial gathering of all families, congregations, and youth groups across LMC.

Assembly will be hosted in different regions by local LMC districts every other year. The purpose for this gathering is to celebrate God's work among us, cast vision for the future, and mobilize everyone for mission.

We hope this clarification is helpful, and we encourage you to invite your leaders to Fall Leadership Assembly and your whole congregation to Assembly 2026!

Who

Any leader within LMC; Bishop, pastor, credentialed, leadership teams, or even young or potential leaders!

What

A four-day Leadership Assembly to resource, equip, empower, and encourage every member of LMC to be a missionary wherever they are. Wednesday and Thursday will be a special resourcing event around APEST, led by Simon and Ceri Harris (part of 5Q Leadership within Movement Leaders Collective). Friday we will host our resource partner organization Expo, with door prizes, appetizers and ice cream, giveaways, and a children's scavenger hunt. We will also have our opening worship service after the Expo. Saturday will feature worship, plenary speakers, seminars, and commissioning.

Why

As we gather together, we want to reflect back on our Anabaptist history and glorify God for all he has done so far. And, as we listen to the Holy Spirit, we want to stir up new energy and excitement for our future as we empower and unleash every member of LMC to be a movement. Fall Leadership Assembly is an opportunity to connect with others from our conference and be equipped and inspired as we go back to our own local contexts.

Go to our website to find more information on the tentative schedule, Friday history tours, potential lodging for non-locals, and more!
