LMC Updates

Our resource partner organization (RPO) Expo is a great opportunity to bring the whole family for fun, games, ice cream, and meaningful connections!

LMC's resource partner organizations are all making invaluable contributions to the community and we celebrate them and their missions. And our RPO's enjoy meeting with our broader LMC family, too. Here's what Larry Guengerich, Director of Communications & Engagement at Landis Communities has to say about last year's Expo:

"I always enjoy chances to meet with people within LMC and share what we are seeking to do in service to people over the age of fifty-five. Last year I was able to talk with a number of people about a book we published called Rooted in Faith, that shares devotionals from services at Landis Homes. People were grateful to see the importance of faith in Landis' community and how many people with ties to LMC were involved. Since we have more than 150 residents, clients, team, and board members who attend LMC congregations, this is an important time of connecting."

Join us for the RPO Expo on September 26, from 5–7 p.m. at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community (210 Weaverland Valley Rd., East Earl PA). This FREE event will be followed by the kick-off worship service of our Fall Leadership Assembly. Register on our website.

Thank you Larry Guengerich for sharing your story from last year's Expo!

Join the Mission of LMC
LMC is in a season of growth! Since 2018, we have welcomed 133 new congregations into our conference. Despite this, donations over the years have remained about the same, and are now beginning to decrease. Would you prayerfully consider joining us in being a Spirit-led movement and donating to LMC? We are grateful for the opportunity to continue ministering alongside you.

Housing Need

EMM's Advance program serves as a gap-year opportunity for young adults. As Advance grows, we are looking for creative ways to house young people in the general vicinity of Hub450 in Lancaster City, where our training takes place. Renting a large house (or two smaller houses) within walking distance 450 North Prince Street would be an ideal solution, though other options could also be an enormous blessing. We anticipate a cohort of 1015 people for this fall (early September through mid-December). Please pray for this need and let Dave Houser know if you are able to help meet this need by emailing dave.houser@emm.org or by calling 717-898-2251. Thank you!
