Letter from the Executive Director

A Season of Growth and Stewardship

Dear Friends of CrossNet Ministries,

As I reach my six‑month mark as Executive Director, my heart is full. These months have been a humbling blend of learning, listening, and witnessing the incredible ways God is moving through this community. Every day, I’m reminded that CrossNet is not just an organization—it’s a living expression of neighbors caring for neighbors, and I am deeply grateful to serve alongside you.

This spring brought one of the most encouraging moments of my time here so far: our Annual Banquet. With 688 attendees and more than $160,000 raised, the evening was a powerful testament to the generosity and shared commitment of this community. Your support strengthens our ability to serve, grow, and dream boldly about what God has next for us.

Even with this momentum, we continue to work faithfully toward paying off our construction debt. Stewardship matters, and we remain committed to using every resource wisely so that our ministry can flourish for years to come. Part of that stewardship includes repurposing previously inhabited office space, transforming it into areas that will better serve our programs and the people who rely on them.

Our core work continues with steady purpose. Each month, our food pantry serves about 200 families, ensuring that households across our community have access to nutritious food and a place of welcome. Our school‑year youth programs are drawing to a close, and we’re already looking forward to the energy and joy of summer activities with our students. These young people inspire us daily with their resilience, curiosity, and hope.

At the same time, we continue to walk alongside individuals and families facing the ongoing challenge of affordable housing. It remains one of the most significant obstacles for those striving to regain stability. Yet even in the uncertainty, we remain prayerful—trusting that God is all‑knowing, all‑powerful, and working in ways we cannot always see, and that all things unfold according to His will.

Thank you for your prayers, your partnership, and your unwavering belief in the mission of CrossNet Ministries. I am honored to serve in this role, and I look forward to the months ahead with gratitude and determination. Together, we will continue to build relationships, offer hope, and create opportunities for our neighbors in the ELANCO community.

With appreciation and in faith,

Allison Cuthie
