First ultrasound at new Ephrata location and a saved baby!

"We weren't ready for a baby, but we're getting there." "I think I’m pregnant and now is just not the time to have a baby,” Jenna said when she called for an appointment. We set her up for a pregnancy test and the first ultrasound at our new Ephrata facility.  Jenna and her mom sat down with our director a few days later. “My boyfriend Joe and I always wanted to have kids,” she explained, “but he’s between jobs, my job doesn’t pay well, and we have a one-bedroom apartment. We just don’t think we can swing it.” Jenna was happy for her mom to accompany her for the ultrasound, and before long they were watching a dancing baby on the monitor – its feet “all up in the air” as our sonographer described it.  There were smiles all around, and Jenna said, “Joe’s gonna want this baby, and I do too.” “Oh!” her mom gasped. She held her hands to her face and said, “It’ll be my first grandbaby!” Jenna called back later that day after talking with Joe, and said, “We’re going for it! And I want to sign up for those baby classes you told me about.” Three months later, Jenna and Joe are working their way through our prenatal courses.  “We weren’t ready for a baby," Jenna said recently, “but thanks to you guys, we’re getting there. These classes have been so helpful!
