July Volunteer Picnic Recap

Here at Align, we value what every person--staff and volunteer alike--brings to the organization. We truly believe that God has each of us here to make a difference. Like the Church, as an organization comprised of believers, we reflect the body of Christ. Each of us stewards our unique gifts to glorify God and champion life, whether we're meeting with clients, connecting with the community at local events, networking with local legislatures, or performing our day-to-day office responsibilities.

Last week, we hosted a special appreciation picnic for our volunteers, and it was a smashing hit! The drop-in event featured yard games and some classic picnic must-haves:

Hot dogs
Mac and cheese
Applesauce
Fox Meadows ice cream (a local favorite)

Client Advocates, Office Assistants, Prayer Intercessors, and other volunteers brought their families and enjoyed a great time of fellowship with one another.

Align Life Ministries and Align Pregnancy Services are truly blessed by our volunteers, and we cannot express our gratitude enough.

Client Advocates Wanted

No Experience Required

As God continues to guide more clients through our doors, our need for additional Client Advocates continues to expand.

One of the biggest lies people believe is that they're not qualified to be Client Advocates because they can't relate to our clients.

That couldn't be further from the truth!

Client Advocates facilitate a predetermined prenatal or parenting curriculum with our clients, complete with worksheets and guides to help them navigate each lesson.

So, to be a Client Advocate...

You don't need to be a parent
You don't need a background in counseling
You don't need a college degree

All you need is a heart for the sacredness of life and the love of Jesus Christ.

Align provides free training so you and your clients can get the most out of each session. Our next Client Advocate training session begins in late September.

Prayer Request: Strength for the Brokenhearted

Pregnancy loss leads to a level of virtually incomprehensible grief. This month, we ask that you join us in prayer for clients who've suffered miscarriages in the past and are experiencing pregnancies now. We lift these women up to our Heavenly Father and ask that He grants them healthy pregnancies and the wisdom to parent with confidence.

We also ask that you join us in prayer for a client who recently lost her preborn baby. Please pray that the Lord provides comfort and renewed strength in ways only He can and that our client leans into His love and plan for her life.

Client Advocates

Our Lancaster location is in need of compassionate, life-affirming individuals willing to lead prenatal and parenting lessons for local moms and dads experiencing unintended pregnancies. We provide the predetermined curriculum, and our Client Advocates* share the video and facilitate guided question-and-answer sessions.
