The MDS Lancaster Unit will be holding its Annual Meeting on March 18, 2024 and we're asking you to help us publicize this event.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

 

You are invited to the MDS Lancaster Unit Annual Meeting, March 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church, 1865 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster. The meeting will feature inspiring stories of MDS volunteers working on projects including Hurley, Virginia, Open Arms Project, Storm Aid, and more. Our featured speaker this year is Joshua Nolt, Pastor at Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church.Snacks, ice cream and fellowship follow the meeting.

We're Hiring: Nurse Sonographer Supervisor
Dear Pastor / Church Liaison,

Align Life Ministries is seeking a full-time Nurse Sonographer Supervisor to oversee our medical services throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Would you kindly help us spread the word?

The candidate must be a mature individual who has a current registered nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania. Sonography experience in limited obstetric ultrasound is preferred but not required; training for certification will be provided.

Supervisory experience preferred. Spanish-speaking preferred but not required. Position is forty hours per week including regularly scheduled evenings and travel to our four Align Pregnancy Services locations (Columbia, Ephrata, Lancaster, Lebanon).

This position requires a person with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to compassionately share the gospel of Jesus and reach out to abortion-minded women.

Community Night of Prayer

March 20th

Prayer is an essential part of any ministry. Woodcrest is partnering with Alive Church, TNT Youth Ministries, the Bridge, and Align Life Ministries for a community night of prayer. We will be praying over what God is doing in our local communities and for the growth of His Kingdom. The night will include worship, a devotional message by Executive Director of Woodcrest Retreat, Bill Klees and fellowship. Join us to support and pray over these local ministries.

Spring Senior Day

March 11th

The Woodcrest Senior Day is a fun day of community for local seniors. You will get to experience the wonder of God through community, fun, and music. This is a free event with a freewill offering taken for the support of our summer camp ministry. The Hinkletown Mennonite School Choir will be providing a musical performance. We will also be hosting Pastor of Indiantown Mennonite Church, Nelson Zeiset, to give a devotional message. Food, fellowship, and games will follow. We welcome retirement homes to bring groups or attend individually.

Come and enjoy a morning of fellowship with the Woodcrest community.

Woodcrest Ministry Conference

Interview with Matt Lee

The Woodcrest Ministry Conference creates a space for fellowship with local ministry leaders and encourages personal growth. Local ministry leaders can come to hear great speakers and slow down to rest with other leaders serving in the same community. The purpose of this day is to refresh the local church and build Christ's kingdom. The conference is sponsored by organizations who invest and care about the Lancaster church.

Tickets are on sale now; register early so we can prepare to serve you!

Free cabin and meeting room rentals are available during the conference.

Benefit Golf Tournament

May 9th

We look forward to welcoming you to a great day of golf, networking, and raising funds for Woodcrest Retreat's summer camp ministry that reaches 2,000 campers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Snacks are provided throughout the afternoon and a full steak and chicken dinner is served during the award reception where prizes are given out. Register to support camp!

Spring School of Wonder Open

Our Spring School of Wonder registration is now open. We are excited to offer a wide range of classes this year including Bird House Building, Chemistry for Kids, Parent/Child Canoe Trips, and much more. Homeschool families are welcome to sign up and experience the wonder of God in creation. Homeschool co-ops and schools are also welcome to book private fieldtrips and select classes for their group. Summer Staff Jobs

Spending a summer at camp is a discipleship opportunity. We are still in need of the following positions for summer 2024

Health Care Provider: Serves as a nurse for our campers. Nursing students or  RN, LPN, EMT, CNA are welcomed to apply.

Lifeguards: Provide a safe and fun pool experience for our campers and guests.

Kitchen Assistants: Help provide quality meals for our campers. Involves preparing and serving.
