1 John 4:21
He has given us this command:  
Anyone who loves God must also love their brother & sister.
ITEMS FOR PRAISE
  1. We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake. 
  2. We thank the Lord that over 200 men attended last month's men's retreat.  We look forward to having David Akers from the Philadelphia Eagles and Shawn Hart from Zacharias Institute with us for next year's men's retreat, January 11-12, 2018. 
  3. We give God the glory that $1,501,000 has come in so far towards the $2.6 million needed for the Wilderness Camp Expansion.  This past weekend we had a great board retreat and we are hopeful of an August 2017 groundbreaking-Praise Be To God! 
  4. Praise the Lord for that over $94K has come in so far towards $445K for Spruce Mountain purchase. 
  5. We praise the Lord for the five young people that came to know Christ as personal Lord and Savior this past weekend's Senior High Winter Blast Retreat!
     
ITEMS FOR PRAYER
  1. Pray for the Spruce Lake board and staff as we continue to seek God's direction for the ministry. 
  2. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here. 
  3. Pray for wisdom as we are in conversation with Barrett Township for building permits as we seek to expand Wilderness Camp into the Youth Ministry Center with a hopeful groundbreaking in August 2017.
  4. Please pray that everything goes well as we look forward to February 15th closing on Spruce Mountain.
We pray that you are growing closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
