Dear Phil,

For your summer plans, which I hope are already off to a great start for you and your family, I want to bring to your attention two items related to our City on the Hill Youth Leadership and Worldview conference on July 23-29.

First, we still have some openings available for this year's conference experience. It's amazing how often students describe their time at City on the Hill (COTH) as "life-changing" and we want to help equip as many students as we can through this experience. Any help you can be this week in recruiting attendees would be greatly appreciated.

The deadline to apply is this Friday, June 30. For any teens age 15-18 interested in attending, click here for your application. And please don't let the cost of tuition get in the way of attending - please be encouraged to contact our office as we have some scholarship assistance available.

Second, each year at City on the Hill, we host a variety of top worldview speakers in the nation. Friends and supporters often comment to us, "I wish I could attend COTH and hear those great speakers!"

Although you must be a high-school teenager to attend the week-long camp, we have opened one session for you to hear for yourself one of the excellent speakers we are bringing to COTH this year. As a ministry partner, you are cordially invited to attend this event:

What you need to know and won't learn in school

Speaker: Dr. Paul Kengor – Best-selling author, executive director of The Center for Vision and Values, and Professor of Political Science, Grove City College.

Details: Tuesday, July 25, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Teague Learning Commons, Lancaster Bible College

Summary: Communists and progressives have been at work for almost two centuries to destroy the family and marriage. Now, however, they have found a key for advancing their vision in the redefinition of marriage. Dr. Paul Kengor, internationally recognized expert on communism and progressivism, discusses his book Takedown: From Communists and Progressives, How the Left has Sabotaged Family and Marriage. He carefully exposes the influential forces driving America towards a radically different family structure.
