Sending food to DR Congo

Ngalula Ilunga remembers the day violence came to her village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She says, "I ran toward the bush and a group of men chased me ... I discovered that my husband and some of my children were missing." With your support we're providing emergency food to people displaced by the violence. Learn more about our response and how your gifts are making a difference for people like Ngalula.

Supporting the immigrant community in Tampa

"I believe churches engage in immigration work because it is simply the right thing to do. Even throughout biblical history, there have been countless stories of foreigners in a strange land who were there for a purpose. It is no different in this day and age," states Cindy Cumberbatch, an attorney working for an MCC-supported immigration program in Florida. In the last year, you helped us send more than 63,841 blankets and comforters, 63,375 hygiene kits and 24,530 relief kits to people in need around the world. Thanks so much for your support! We've recently updated a few of the contents and instructions for kits. Check out the new instructions and start making kits today!

Thank you, Chambersburg, PA, for packing 220 relief kits!

Check out photos from the "Buckets of Hope" event held at Marion Mennonite Church in early March.

Comforters have been part of MCC's relief work for a long time! Here's a distribution in Japan in the 1950s. If you know more about this photo send us a note! Thanks to many volunteers making comforters now!
