When our organizations merged into one, we needed a refreshed website that better expresses the full range of programs now offered by Good Samaritan Services.

Extraordinary Give 2018

The Extraordinary Give is right around the corner! November 16^th is the 7^th annual Extraordinary Give and the largest day of giving in Lancaster County. This year, Good Samaritan Services has a goal of raising $60,000 for the essential housing services we offer in both Chester and Lancaster Counties.

As a supporter of GSS, there are several ways you can help us that day:

Go online at donate at https://www.extragive.org/organizations/good-samaritan-services on November 16th.

Go on Facebook and Instagram and share our posts regarding the Extraordinary Give leading up to and on November 16^th.

Create a Peer-to-Peer fundraising page! The Extraordinary Give makes peer-to-peer giving really easy for supporters of GSS to promote fundraising the day of.
First, go to: https://www.extragive.org/organizations/good-samaritan-services and then click on the yellow button titled "Fundraise". Through this you can sign up with your email or with Facebook to create your own giving page in order to have people fundraise for GSS on the day of the Extraordinary Give. On your personal page you can create a monetary goal, add a picture, and share this through your social media sites as well as email.

Post a picture or video on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook about why YOU give EXTRA with the hashtag #IGiveEXTRA for the chance to win $250 for Good Samaritan Services! The Lancaster County Community Foundation will be picking a post every week starting October 16 up until the big day!

Grab your friends, family, or colleagues to create a team, or come just to witness the excitement as teams put on their racing caps!

This super fun, family-friendly event will raise funds and awareness for all the great work accomplished by three Phoenixville non-profits that provide shelter for the homeless. Whether you're racing or spectating, join us on November 3rd to support those who work tirelessly to make sure that no one is without a bed to sleep in.

You can visit the website to sign up to participate or volunteer.

Proceeds benefit: Ann's Heart, Good Samaritan Services, and The House.
