I have been asked to pass this along to our pastors and congregations, as there may be members and friends among our churches that would value and appreciate this event as we all try to help in efforts to counter addiction and its impact on our communities.

Ephrata Cares Initiative is holding a Candlelight Memorial for those who have lost loved ones to addiction. Anyone is invited to participate. It will be held Wed., Dec. 12, 6:30 pm at Whistle Stop Plaza, 16 E. Main St., Ephrata. In case of rain, it will be held indoors at City Gate, 100 E. Main St., Ephrata.
