2813 Stumptown Rd, Bird in Hand, Pa. 17505

This workshop will answer two questions.
1. How can we start an ESL ministry at our church?
2. How can I use ESL techniques with non-native speakers?

This resource event is cosponsored by Stumptown MC, LMC, and YWAM-Virginia.
All resource speakers are connected with YWAM-Virginia. Multiplication leaders, missional practitioners, visionary pastors, church planters, and emerging leaders should find the day practical, refreshing and encouraging.

The cost of the event is $20 and includes lunch. Registration is required. Preregister at if you plan to attend. Pay at the door. Stumptown MC, LMC, Landis Homes and Everence are helping to underwrite the costs of the day.
Holiday Extravaganza

LMC Office, 2160 Lincoln Hwy E #5, Lancaster Pa. 17602

You are invited to a Holiday Extravaganza at the LMC office on December 5, 2018 for cookies and holiday beverages. While you snack, browse the Conference Resource Center bookshelves and select books, banners, and videos as our gift to you. The giveaway extends until December 11, but the cookies and hot chocolate are only on Dec. 5.

The Conference Resource Center is eliminating the library resources and giving the items away for personal use (resellers not welcome). Due to lack of use, it was decided to eliminate this resource and turn the books over to congregational use.

Any items remaining after Dec. 11 will go to the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society Book Frolic.

Connecting with Landis Communities
The fastest growing age group in the United States are those at or near 70 years old.  Statistics tell us many of those persons will live at least to age 90. With that reality come questions about how congregations and families can be supporting those who are reaching this milestone. Landis Communities is happy to provide educational opportunities for small groups, Sunday School classes and entire congregations. Designed to stimulate creative thinking about congregational involvement in this process, the sessions are done by trained Landis Communities team members and come with no cost to your group. For more information, contact Larry Guengerich at or 717-381-3526.
