Click here  Call for Welcome Teams and Friendship Partners Did you know: Refugee families have been arriving to Lancaster and CWS has welcomed 90 refugees since October, 2018? A large refugee family will arrive to CWS Lancaster within the next month or so. We are preparing for their arrival and have two urgent needs in regards to this welcome. 1) Welcome Team: we would like to partner a faith community to be a Welcome Team for the family. Mom, Dad, their 4 adult children, and their 8 school-aged children will arrive to be reunited with two older family members. Even with relatives in the area, additional friends and the accompaniment of a Welcome Team in their transition will be greatly appreciated. 2) 5 bedroom home: for the family to live all together, we will need many bedrooms. There will be other families arriving in the coming months as well! CWS Lancaster has a need for more communities of faith to form Welcome Teams and Friendship Partners to accompany newly arrived families.
