What a Night! REAL Life Real Hope Banquet was AMAZING!

Thank you so much for those who attended and donated at our 2019 Spring Banquet, held at Weaver's Banquet Facility on Thursday April 4, 2019.  We had a total of 224 people in attendance and raised over $12,000 for the operations of REAL Life Community Services.

Dr. Ella Musser's testimony to what God and the community can do to support a person was powerful!  How blessed are we to have such an amazing woman heading our school district?  We cannot thank her enough for all she has done for us as an organization and as a community.

And who was not moved by Kalisha's story of perseverance and endurance in the face of trials?  Her story is exactly the reason that we do what we do – to help people when there is no other obvious way for them to get out of the spot they have found themselves in.  We are there to do whatever is needed to make sure they feel loved and supported until they can get back on their feet and where they are meant to be.

As I always say, none of this would be possible with out God, and without your support, both financially and prayerfully.  We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you at each banquet.

On June 15, 2019, Camp Conquest and REAL Life Community Services is holding our first REAL Conquest Trail Run with Obstacles. Enjoy a 5K trail run designed for teams of four to spend the morning together as they conquer 12 obstacles and multiple hills.  To accomplish this, we need you!

The purpose of the REAL Conquest Trail Run is to build community awareness of Camp Conquest day camp programs and to raise funds for the Declaration House (REAL Life Community Services) which will provide Social Services in the Cocalico region of Northern Lancaster County.   To register, click HERE!
Good Samaritan Services, one of our partners in the Northern Lancaster Hub, will be holding a special training class for parents of children who have been impacted by traumatic events or stress.   Building Resiliency Skills to Weather the Storms.  A 2 part workshop fo help parents build resiliency skills in their children.  May 16 and 23 from 6-8 pm at the Lighthouse Youth Center, 239 Main Street Denver. To register, contact Kathleen@goodsamservices.org, or call 717-201-4394.  Light refreshments and childcare will be provided.
We'd really love to see you there Thursday!
Down to $120,000 since the printing of this ad - we still have room for more names!
