May 2019 Praise & Prayer Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."   Praises: We praise the Lord for a staff and board of directors who desire to see many lives touched by God at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook. We are very grateful to the many volunteers who helped serve meals to nearly 900 guests from one large retreat group who stayed at Pinebrook and Spruce Lake over Easter weekend. Praise God that 15 of the guests were baptized in the Pinebrook pool. A ladies retreat group we had the privilege to host at Pinebrook last weekend stated, "I wanted to thank you all for making our women's retreat an awesome experience. The ladies were very happy with their room. We will pass the word that Pinebrook is great again." Prayers: Pray for the Franconia Mennonite Camp Association Board and staff at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook as we continue to seek God's direction for the ministry. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the arriving guests for what He wants to teach them while they are here. Phase II Youth Campus build out - pray for the sewer planning and submission to DEP and Township – for the new cabins at Spruce Lake Wilderness Camp.  Pray for the staff we need to serve guests at Spruce Lake and Pinebrook this summer. Pray that we would get some volunteers to complete one large element on the obstacle course being constructed at Wilderness Camp.
