Elizabethtown College's Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies presents "The Meaning of the Pennsylvania Dutch Language," by Mark Louden on Thurs., Sept. 12, 7:30 p.m., in the Bucher Meetinghouse. Louden is a fluent speaker of Pennsylvania Dutch and has written extensively on the language and its speakers. He teaches at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is the author of Pennsylvania Dutch: The Story of an American Language.
