Project Christmas Presents

Santa and Cookies!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in providing gifts for our Project Christmas Presents program. Because of your generosity, 54 families will wake up on Christmas morning with gifts under the tree.

On Friday, December 14th, we hosted our annual Christmas party for all the children enrolled in the program. Families had the chance to enjoy cookies together, and each child got the special opportunity to take a photo with Santa. We also had boxes of leftover coats available for parents to browse and take what they needed for their families.

Thank you again for helping make this holiday season brighter for so many families in our community!

Operation Warm

We are excited to be handing out 120 pairs of brand-new shoes and socks to students in the Cocalico School District, thanks to Operation Warm, a wonderful non-profit organization that provides new athletic shoes to children in need.

We are thrilled to partner with Operation Warm and our community to offer this valuable resource and make a positive impact on the lives of local children!

Introducing Becca, our new Case Worker!

Becca grew up in Lancaster County and graduated from Garden Spot High School. After taking a gap year, she decided to pursue social work so she could give back to the community and impact others. Becca recently graduated from Cairn University with her Bachelor's in Social Work. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the Eagles, being outside, and hanging out with her golden retriever named Hope.

One of her favorite verses is Psalms 121:1-2 - "I lift my eyes up to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth"

We are so excited to welcome Becca to our team!

VITA is Back!

Starting February 13th through April 3rd, VITA will be offering free tax assistance at the Lighthouse Community Center on Thursdays from 9 AM to 1 PM, by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call Sunny at 717-336-7797 ext. 201.

We're excited to partner with the Central Penn Food Bank and the United Way to provide this free tax preparation clinic for our current clients. At REAL Life Community Services, we understand the importance of supporting those in need, and we're proud to offer this service to help make tax season a little easier for our community.

Momentum guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them. A child needs to know that they are not alone in dealing with the day-to-day challenges of life.

All events are free and are for individuals that are 60 years and older. Coffee, chatting, games, speakers, and MORE! Come out and get to know others in your community!

2nd & 4th Wednesdays we meet at Faith Evangelical United Lutheran Church in Denver!
