500th Anniversary of the Anabaptist Movement
You are invited to experience the 500th anniversary of the Anabaptist movement through six primary areas of focus: remembrance, reverence, reflection, repentance, re-baptism, and re-mission. The passionate movement was sparked on January 21, 1525 during the Reformation by the re-baptism of three young leaders.
Their devotion to following Jesus and empowerment by the Holy Spirit fueled a deep awakening to a treasure in Christ persecution could not take away. This 500-year mark of the believer's baptism is a strategic time in church history to look beyond the past. Come join us as we consider "The More" that God desires to release in and through the Anabaptist family.......Amish, Mennonites, Brethren in Christ, Hutterites, Independents, etc! What does it mean for us to be found faithful in serving the Lord in this generation? We trust in the faithfulness of God to continue to reveal His heart and His plans; and would be honored if you chose to join us in this pursuit!

Just for fun...

Danny had recently passed his driving test and decided to ask his father, who happened to be a Mennonite pastor, if there was any chance of him getting a car for Christmas, which was yet some months away.

"Okay." said his father, "I tell you what I'll do. If you can get your 'C' level grades up to 'A's and 'B's, study your Bible and get your hair cut, I'll consider the matter very seriously."

A month later Danny went back to his father who said "I'm really impressed by your commitment to your studies. Your grades are excellent and the work you have put into your bible study is very encouraging. However, I have to say I'm very disappointed that you haven't had your hair cut yet."

Danny was smart and never lost for an answer. "Look dad. In the course of my Bible study I've noticed in the illustrations that Moses, John the Baptist, Samson and even Jesus had long hair."

"Yes. I'm well aware of that…" replied his father "… but did you also notice they walked wherever they went?"
