CHRISTMAS PROGRAM RECAP 🎁

641 children in our community were blessed by the 2024 Christmas Program!

The mission of the Annual Christmas Program is to ease financial burdens, build resources, and to match community support with under-resourced families in the ELANCO School District by providing Christmas gifts to children and a Christmas meal to families.

For a full thank you to our partners, volunteers, and donors, and for photos from the event click here!

CHRISTMAS MEAL πŸŽ„

This year, 310 Christmas meals were packed and distributed to families and individuals in the ELANCO Community! This meal fed 1,196 individuals!

Thank you to the following organizations and businesses for making this possible:

▪️Bangor Church

▪️Yoders

▪️Shady Maple Farm Market

▪️Conestoga Wood

▪️Iron Mountain

We are so grateful for your partnership!

And thank you to the Volunteers who helped distribute these meals to families during the Christmas Program Event Day!

GETTING AHEAD GRADUATION πŸŽ‰

In December we had the privilege of celebrating 8 Getting Ahead grads who completed the Getting Ahead Workshop!

Getting Ahead in a Just Getting By World is a 14-week workshop that is designed to help individuals investigate the causes of poverty-related issues, discover the resources needed to overcome life's problems, and create a strong support system!

AN ENCOURAGING STORY

A Mentor pair got together over Christmas break to make casseroles. These casseroles were for the Mentee to bring home for her family to have meals during the holidays!

This story reminds us of an encouraging story from 2024. Click on the picture to watch a Mentor and Mentee who have bonded over baking and cooking together!

We are grateful for relationship building and life change that comes through the CrossNet Mentor Program!
