LMC Resource Partner Organizations' Events & Information
EMM and LMC are thankful for the volunteer receptionists we have now, but we need a few more. Currently, there is a regular Tuesday afternoon shift available as well as substitute receptionists needed to fill the shifts when regular volunteers can't make it. General responsibilities include welcoming guests to EMM and LMC offices, answering the phone, and transferring calls. The role includes occasional and light projects such as collating or folding things, but there will be time to do personal reading or projects. We'd like to invite you to write to Jeanette Hunt at jeanette.hunt@emm.org or 717-898-2251 for more information.

Kairos Course
March 22  April 5
Parkview Mennonite Church
57 E Church St, Reamstown, PA 17567
EMM is offering this course which is for Christians at any point in their journey with God, guiding each participant into a biblical worldview. It is not strictly a course about the "harvest" but a course which focuses on the "harvesters." It is an opportunity for all God's people to be transformed and aligned with God's heart for the nations. It uses a unique combination of facilitated introductions, reading, videos, group discussions, special activities, and prayer for unreached people. Kairos is one of several mobilization tools produced by Simply Mobilizing International, based in the Philippines but active in over 100 countries around the world.  Register by March 21, 2025

The registration fee covers materials, refreshments, and lunches. For questions, please contact

Save the Date: "A Wonderful Life"

Join us for an unforgettable evening March 27, 2025 at 5 p.m. with Friendship Community's Heart Gallery & Studio, where we celebrate creativity, inclusion, and endless possibilities. This annual event highlights the remarkable talents of our artists, honoring their individuality and empowering their potential. Prepare to be inspired as we showcase incredible art and share stories that will leave you in awe. We can't wait to experience this "WOW" moment with you!

This year's theme, "A Wonderful Life," is inspired by Heart Artist Emily Hoy's captivating artwork of the same name, which will be featured at the event. Her piece reflects the beauty found in everyday moments and reminds us that life's true richness comes from connection, creativity, and resilience. It serves as a celebration of the vibrant lives and boundless potential of adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Through this theme, we're reminded every individual has the power to shape a meaningful and fulfilling life—like a masterpiece coming to life on canvas. Kindly reserve your tickets by March 3, 2025. Formal Attire Encouraged.

Any questions should be directed to Development at (717) 656-2466  or
agilbertson@friendshipcommunity.net.
