From Mongolia to Minnesota
Families find healing and hope
A trio of Mongolian children now recovering in Minnesota have fresh hope after undergoing life-saving heart surgery arranged by Samaritan's Purse. Without the operations, these children—who had no access to advanced medical care in their home country—would have faced a premature death.
Since our Children's Heart Project began in 1997 we have brought more than 1,100 children from around the world to North America to receive the precious gift of a repaired heart. During their stay the children and their families are shown the love of Christ by our staff, translators, and local host families and churches. Many of them have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, including two of the Mongolian mothers now in Minnesota—both of whom were baptized last weekend. Praise God!
Read more and watch a stirring video here about how God is transforming lives through the Children's Heart Project.
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him" (Psalm 28:7.NKJV).
The Children's Heart Project is a project of Samaritan's Purse.
