Latest News : February 2016 Greetings from Crossfire Youth Ministries. This month we are highlighting the Ashland Youth Center & our Cocalico Area High School girls.   ASHLAND YOUTH CENTER. In 2007 Crossfire purchased the First Baptist Church from Bethany EC for $1. The building was remodeled into the current youth center. Over the years we have seen a couple of hundred children & teens from Ashland check out the facility and hangout for a while. Currently we meet every Tuesday evening with the 16 years & older crew (2-6 young adults), and every Saturday afternoon with the younger crew (14-20 children). Shown above is the younger crew enjoying our devotions & singing time. This opportunity is made possible with your support of Crossfire. Web Site Link Introducing our Cocalico area High School Girls.These young ladies are taking part in a series called "Becoming a Modern Day Princess". They are learning about their own unique personality, their family heritage, rewards of obedience, evaluating friendships & Looking at the Portrait of a Prince - characteristics of a man of integrity. In April we will hold a closing ceremony taking the girls out to eat, all dressed up and hopefully with a father in attendance. These girls are so excited about this class. Many thanks to Bev D. for pulling it all together. There is a cost for the dresses, the meal & ceremony - If you would like to help offset the cost of this series for several of these girls, your financial investment will benefit one of the young ladies featured above. Donations of $50 or more would indeed be helpful. Weekly we continue to serve up to 60 children on a Wednesday evening. Thursday evenings up to 45 children & Friday evenings see about 30 teens. As God continues to bring children into our midst we do our best to share the Love of Jesus Christ with each of them.
