Eastern Mennonite Missions | EMM worker Heleen Yoder helps run a Christmas party for children with special needs.
Dear friend,
Here are some of the ways God has used your generosity to transform the world in the last few months alone ....
In East Asia, EMM worker Lea* is continuing to cross cultures, quietly sharing the gospel as restrictive laws are tightening in her adopted country.
In Sierra Leone, EMM worker Heleen Yoder is working to provide counseling services to children with trauma and disabilities. She is engaging the world in the counter-cultural idea that these children have as much dignity and value as any other child.
And in Germany, EMM workers Bryan and Karah* were excited to discover that students from their church were regularly inviting church visitors to lunch after the Sunday service. Many refugees have found a home at this EMM church plant since the refugee crisis began. Now, these new believers are beginning to make disciples of Jesus.
Will you continue to help EMM's workers cross cultures, engage the world, and make disciples of Jesus?
Please consider a gift to EMM's Impact Fund. This year, EMM is hoping to raise $846,400 by June 30 -- we still have $274,860 to go.
You can give online at emm.org/impactfund, or send a check to EMM, PO Box 458, Salunga, PA 17538-0458. See weekly updates on the fundraising progress at emm.org/impactfund. Thank you for playing an important part in inviting unreached people around the world to join the way of joy, hope, and life -- the way that is Jesus!
Serving together, Nelson Okanya EMM President
