Staff Needed: Male Counselors Are you someone (or do you know someone) who loves to hang out with kids, cook meals over the fire, spend a summer in God's nature, and all while getting paid? BBC is looking for top quality high school and college aged guys to come and mentor campers in the green mountains of Vermont! Each summer I couldn't seem to stop coming back, first as a camper, then as a counselor. I found something amazing in this place: Come and See! - past camper & staffer Positions Available Head Counselor A counselor at Bethany Birches Camp is responsible for 6-8 children's safety, fun quotient, discipline, and experience throughout a week of camp. This includes cooking meals over a fire, participating in themed activities, and taking time to know each individual camper. Compensation: $180 / week Dates: June 15th - August 14th Minimum Age: 19 More information here Assistant Counselor An assistant counselor at Bethany Birches Camp works directly with the assigned head counselor to ensure 6-8 children's safety and fun quotient throughout a week of camp. This includes aiding the head counselor in daily tasks as well as creating a positive cabin community, and taking the time to know each individual camper.
