Jordan Dolson, Owner In an exploration of agriculture and entrepreneurship, Legacy Greens Founder, Jordan Dolson, started a part time market garden in 2014 on her parents' dairy farm in Atwood, Ontario. A year later, Jordan opened a pop-up shop in Downtown Kitchener to test whether a fresh food market would be supported by the community. The loyal support of the downtown neighbourhood led to a permanent location. The market garden continued until the end of 2018, supplying our store with greens, herbs, tomatoes and ground cherries. After developing strong relationships with local growers and food entrepreneurs, Jordan is focusing more on the retail part of her business while creating more work-life balance. Jordan is also very interested in the economic sustainability of small business systems. She has recently gone back to school to study Economics at the University of Waterloo on a part-time basis. - About the company: Legacy Greens is a specialty grocer in Downtown Kitchener focusing on fresh produce and local foods.
