Dear Pastor,

The year 2020 will go down in history as a year of disease, disruption, and division leading to disappointment, disillusionment, and depression.  More than ever, we need to pray, "Lord, help us; Lord, heal us!" For this reason, I am very encouraged by the theme of the 2021 Lancaster National Day of Prayer,  "Lord, Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty."  The theme comes from 2 Corinthians 3:17 - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Kathy Branzell, President of NDP, commented on the theme,  "We pray He will soften hard hearts and heal broken ones as we engage, encourage, and equip the Church to love and live in the fullness of Christ as an example of the liberty, the abundant life, that we experience in Jesus."

We are gathering to worship the Lord and to call on Him as the Church body of Lancaster County on Thursday, May 6 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Calvary Church.  Would you consider gathering with us and encouraging those under your care to attend?  Attached is a document with all the details to display on a screen or to print and insert in the bulletin.

Thank you,

Doug Myer
Chairperson, Lancaster National Day of Prayer
