Dear Friend, For nearly 35 years, and with the partnership of folks like you, Pennsylvania Family Institute has effectively advocated and engaged on behalf of life, religious liberty, and the family all across our Commonwealth. |

But the impact of our work doesn't really end at the state border—in that we ally with 40 similar state-based organizations across America along with the national pro-family organization Family Policy Alliance (founded by Focus on the Family). We each promote principles aimed at strengthening the family, preserving First Amendment freedoms, and protecting the vulnerable in our respective states and at the national level. |

Each state-based organization, called a State Family Policy Council (FPC), is fully independent and autonomous. Yet, each recognizes that we can help each other become even more effective in advancing our respective missions. Rather than reinvent the wheel, our alliance looks to learn from one another, strategize, pray together, and occasionally pool resources in common projects. This relationship makes our work in the states more effective and allows each FPC to serve as a better steward of what donors entrust to our care. Among its many impacts, our alliance advances the common goal of equipping and empowering people of faith and other concerned citizens to participate effectively in government and for the betterment of families, children, and society. Voting, along with prayer and service, is a key component of responsible citizenship. However, public surveys tell us, for example, that in many places, up to a third of the Christian community misses key elections. Many of the people who share our values simply don't vote. And that impacts the future of our state, nation, and our families, as you can well imagine. Often, this failure is not based on specific convictions but more on either ignorance that an election is even happening (think of those off-year elections or primaries) or simply letting the opportunity slip by. We are blessed with the right to have a voice (through our vote) in our governments (local, state, and federal), a right won at a very high cost and one not shared by most others across the world. Thus, we should not ignore this responsibility. |

| Today, we have exciting news to share! To that end, we are partnering with the Family Policy Alliance and Christians Engaged (CE) to provide easy-to-access tools and resources to help you in practical and responsible citizenship and civic engagement. In short, Christians Engaged has developed the technology and tools, providing you with simple reminders to pray, vote, and engage. |
It's simple, free, and it's not just for the current election cycle – but for the elections each and every year, the ones it's so easy to overlook – but that can make a huge difference in our communities. And when combined with the ongoing resources of PA Family – including our voter guide, I really think you'll appreciate these tools and resources. Now It's Your Turn. Will YOU commit to doing 3 things for the good of our communities, state, and nation? Take the pledge: PRAY. VOTE. ENGAGE. Join one million voters who are taking the pledge to pray for our nation, vote in every election, and engage in the process of civic involvement. |
| |
Then, with only about 70 days until polls close, please consider a financial gift to further this work. Your donation couldn't come at a better time to sustain this work and push it forward here in the Keystone state! Thank You For Supporting Our Voter Engagement Efforts! Together, |
