National Night Out!

Tuesday, August 6th @ 6pm

We are gearing up to hand out backpacks at National Night Out! This month on August 6th, we plan on providing 100 backpacks to the students in the Cocalico School District. We still need your help collecting items to put in these backpacks to ensure these students have everything they need to start off the school year right. There is a registry on Walmart to see what we still need.

If you have a student in the Cocalico School District, join us at National Night Out and get your student a free backpack! Even if you don't need any school supplies, join us for a night of fun games and FREE hot dogs!

IT'S HERE!

After two long years of waiting, fundraising, and planning, it is finally here! We are so excited to announce that our 14-passenger van is out of production and ready for pick-up! This van will be used for various needs within the ministry, such as picking up food and supplies for food distribution, providing transportation for our Momentum group for off-site activities, and so much more! We want to thank Matt William State Farm Agency and everyone who helped us get this van, as well as Twin Pine Ford for their amazing help with ordering and getting it ready for us!

Summer Acts of Love

In collaboration with the Cocalico Ministerium and Ephrata Area Social Services, this summer we will be providing weekly lunches at the parks in the Cocalico Area! These lunches will be provided in Adamstown, Denver, Reamstown, and Reinholds from 12-1 pm every Wednesday starting June 12th and running through August 14th!

Each week, the number of families receiving these free lunches has grown exponentially! Just the other week, around 140 free lunches had been given about between the 4 locations. We are so thankful for the generosity of the churches providing the time packing and supplies for these meals!

We are so excited about this partnership to ensure our kids are being fed this summer, and we hope you are too!

Volunteers Needed!

Currently, we need volunteers that are available to assist with Cocalico Food Pantry shopping in the afternoon. If you are interested in helping with this program and have some free time in the afternoon, please contact marybeth@reallcs.org.
