A Word From Executive Director Bill Klees

March is always an exciting time at Woodcrest. With warmer weather, we are able to get outdoors and begin the

process of preparing the grounds for the busy summer season that is just around the corner. This year is particularly exciting as we make the new cabins that arrived in February ready for camp use. March is also when events start happening, School of Wonder classes resume, season pool applications are available, and staff are busy getting summer camp plans finalized. We invite you to check out all the things that are happening in the months ahead. Furthermore, now is a good time to make your summer reservations for the campground or pavilions. However you do it, summer is the perfect time to experience the wonder of God at Woodcrest Retreat.

Our Spring semester starts this month! We believe the natural world is God's classroom, and we invite your students to study the work of the Creator firsthand.

Discover Design: From Rocketry to Dissection, students explore the intricate order of the world God made.
Grow in Wisdom: Beyond academics, we foster a community where students learn to see God's hand in all things.

A Summer of Spiritual Growth

In a world full of distractions, camp offers a sacred space for children to "unplug" and experience the Wonder of God. As we look toward Summer 2026, our prayer is that every camper leaves with a deeper faith and a clearer vision of who God calls them to be.

The Woodcrest Experience:

Day Camps: Building a foundation of faith through outdoor fun and fellowship (Ages 6-14).
Overnight Camps: Stepping away from the ordinary into the extraordinary. (Ages 7-15)
Outbound Trips: Pushing boundaries and building character through Christ-centered adventures. (Ages 12-16)

Join the Mission: Become a Prayer Partner

The heartbeat of our ministry is our Summer Staff, who serve on the front lines to share Christ's love with every camper. We are looking for dedicated Prayer Partners to provide spiritual covering for these young leaders throughout the season.

Spring Senior Citizens Day

Our Senior Days are a special time to step away from the business of life and enjoy the peace of God's creation alongside friends old and new. Join us for a morning of spiritual refreshment, a delicious meal, and an encouraging program.

Event Details:

Featuring:
Miles Yoder (Hinkeltwon Mennonite Schools Head of School)
Hinkeltown Mennonites 1st Grade students singing.

One of the most powerful ways you can help is by praying for Woodcrest. Please consider praying for:

The year-round ministry team.
