Tim didn't know much about Align at first.
When his girlfriend became pregnant, he knew she was coming to us for help. But it wasn't until she started sharing what she was learning in her prenatal classes that he became curious. So he came with her.
Together, they completed our prenatal course. Not long after, they welcomed their baby.
Nearly a year later, Tim reached out again. This time, it was personal.
He shared that he had been struggling with anger and depression. After talking with his girlfriend, he decided to take a step forward and reconnect with us.
"I want to be a better boyfriend and father," he said. "I hope I can learn those things by taking your fatherhood classes."
Since then, Tim has shown up faithfully each week. And every time he meets with his advocate, he asks for prayer — that he would become the father his child needs.
It's a privilege to walk with men like Tim as they grow, not just in skills, but in purpose, responsibility, and faith. We're trusting that both Tim and his girlfriend will continue to encounter the love of Christ in a real and lasting way.
As it says in Philippians 1:6: "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
We see that good work beginning, and continuing, in Tim's life. And we're grateful to be part of the journey.
