Help victims of historic
Louisiana flooding
Samaritan's Purse is on the ground in Louisiana after what some have called "Katrina-like" flooding. This unprecedented event has left 10 dead and 10,000 homeless. More than 20,000 residents have been rescued from the surging floodwaters.
"This is truly a storm that has ravaged all of south Louisiana," said Governor John Bel Edwards.
We have a tremendous opportunity to serve these flood victims in Jesus' Name as we help families clean out their mud-filled homes. Volunteers will tear out soaked drywall, remove flooring, clear debris and spray special chemicals designed to stop mold growth.
"These families need our help," said Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham. "We want to remind them that they are not alone and show them God's love as we help them recover."
