• Pennsylvania German Folk Art Sale Opening Reception—Come to the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society for the opening of the annual sale of handcrafted goods. Meet the artists, listen to live music, and enjoy light refreshments while perusing traditional art. Freshly baked pies will also be available for purchase. The reception takes places from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 18 at the Society, 2215 Millstream Rd., Lancaster, Pa.
  
• Christmas Candlelight Tours—Experience the holiday season at the 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum this fall. Candlelight Tours runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on December 1 and 2 (Thursday and Friday), and from 5 to 8:30 on December 3 (Saturday). This year the tour explores the role of corn in early communities, both Native and immigrant. Learn more at hansherr.org
  
• Extraordinary Give—Donate on November 18 to support the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society's eastern woodlands style Native American Longhouse at the 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum. Donations will help cover costs incurred to build and furnish the longhouse.  Learn more at ExtraGive.org.
